Tikit, a leading provider of technology solutions for law and professional services firms, today announced that the Legal Technology Core Competencies Certification Coalition (LTC4) has approved Tikit’s assessment for Time and Billing.
As part of this, Tikit’s training plans for its Carpe Diem timekeeping application have been mapped to satisfy all the core competencies of the LTC4 time & billing workflow culminating in the development of an assessment that LTC4 member firms can administer to their users after attending training to include with their certification application.
LTC4 is a non-profit organisation, that has established legal technology core competencies and certification that all law firms can use to measure ongoing efficiency improvements.
According to Virginio Basile, Tikit’s vice-president of professional services for North America, the LTC4 time and billing assessment validates the company’s training methodology. “Our training programs reflect best practices/ best processes and the LTC4 core competencies and certification process provides additional credibility. It also provides additional value to our clients who are LTC4 members or looking to join since they can now use our training plans and assessment to deliver best practices and certification.”
Tikit works with law firms in four distinct but connected specialist areas – document and project lifecycle management, practice and case management, time recording, marketing and CRM.
