BigLaw lawyer Bentley Kassal turned 100 on Tuesday, and he has no intention of cutting back on his workload.

Kassal is of counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he advises litigators on punching up their legal arguments and helps advance the firm’s pro bono efforts, Bloomberg Big Law Business reports.

“I’m here every morning by 9:30 a.m. and work a full day to 4:30 p.m.,” Kassal told Bloomberg. “I am enjoying every bit of it because every day I get a new challenge, and I like being challenged.”

Kassal is a former New York state legislator and judge who joined Skadden in 1998. He attributes his good health to loving his job, being married to a woman who shares his love of travel, and staying physically active. He keeps his mind active through his legal work and reading the newspapers, he says.

He also is a photographer who has traveled worldwide and taken photos of war and oppression that he has donated to human rights and children’s organizations. His photo of a girl in Beirut was the poster child for Save the Children for many years.
