Two specialist football lawyers from Walker Morris’ nationally recognised Sports Law Team have contributed to a new book entitled, ‘Football and the Law’, which will be launched by Bloomsbury this month.
Walker Morris Director, Alistair McHenry, and Senior Associate Liz Coley, are both contributing authors of the book, which provides the first comprehensive review of the law relating to all aspects of football, including the main regulatory and commercial aspects of the sport.
Many of the leading experts in the field were asked to contribute to the publication, which will be a valuable resource to lawyers, club executives and others active in the football industry.
The book is available from publishers Bloomsbury Professional and can be ordered here: https://www.bloomsburyprofessional.com/uk/football-and-the-law-9781847668820/
The book is edited by Nick De Marco QC of Blackstone Chambers, who is ranked as one of the leading Sports law barristers and the foremost practitioner in football disputes. He acts for football clubs, federations, players, and agents in commercial and regulatory disputes before FIFA, CAS and various domestic forums.
